14 years since the beginning of Amazon FBA, there are currently 9.5 million registered sellers - that’s roughly the population of the 8th most populated country in the world, Hungary! And of the $870.8 billion in US e-commerce sales in 2021, 41% of all orders and 63% of initial product searches took place on Amazon.
More and more are realizing the gold rush opportunity as Amazon continues to dominate the e-commerce landscape. While it has never been easier - with more tools, more knowledge, and more potential buyers than ever - there are also many more sellers entering the FBA market each day.
We’re still in the early days of e-commerce in the grand scale of things, but there’s undoubtedly a lot more competition now - meaning it’s much more difficult to launch a successful product … at least compared to the beginning of FBA in the late 2000s.
That said, a survey conducted by JungleScout found that of their network of sellers, most make at least $1000-5000 per month in sales, with the most successful sellers making more than $100K a month.
While it’s true that competition has increased on Amazon and other e-commerce platforms, so too has the demand for online shopping. There is so much potential to explore… if only one had the wisdom.
Future CEOs benefit from the HIVE mind - our collective network of successful FBA business owners and e-commerce marketers, and the network, expertise and economies of scale they provide.
At the beginning of every FBA journey is the quest to source, improve upon and manufacture a product. The seller must then prepare their listing, sourcing a contractor for separate services like Brand, Graphic and Logo Design, Photography, Videography and Listing Copywriting. And of course, the inventory must arrive to Amazon’s warehouses… requiring the seller to find the right shipping agent.
That’s a lot of logistics and would normally take hours and hours to figure out… but you’re in good hands. Not only can HIVE partners avoid the exhausting back and forths required when sourcing a new manufacturer, shipping partner or creative contractor, they also save on the costs benefiting from our long standing business relationships.
As a HIVE partner, you benefit from the excellent relationships we’ve built with our network and from our team who will handle most of the grunt work for you.
Starting an Amazon FBA journey on your own can be incredibly overwhelming. There’s so much to learn, so many moving pieces to manage, and so many technical things that are not intuitive.
New HIVE partners benefit from a tried and true system that we ourselves have used to launch several successful products, and a team of experts to guide them through each step.
The first step is the incubation stage. At this time, HIVE Partners are supported by our experts who help them get incorporated, set up their Amazon storefront, and take care of other time-consuming logistics.
During this time, arguably the most difficult process for any new FBA seller must also happen: product selection. Do product selection right, and you’ll be rewarded with a long term, profitable product that may grow into a bigger store of related products. Do product selection wrong, and you will pay out of pocket for something that won’t sell.
While normal sellers must go through the painstaking process of researching the right product and agonizing whether or not their choice is right - HIVE Partners benefit from our dedicated Product Validation & Sourcing Crew. We have several members of the team whose role is to constantly research and validate product ideas, so HIVE Partners can quickly get started… even if they don’t have a product idea.
We’re proud to share that we’ve perfected our incubation stage, as we enjoy a 100% success rate on HIVE Partners launching their stores.
30% of HIVE Partners make 10K per month - while only 10% of FBA Sellers in general make this amount. In other words, guidance from HIVE results in more surefire profits.
