The liberating power of e-commerce, and the opportunity it offers to break individuals out of the hamster wheel at a low barrier to entry is the driving force behind how HIVE evolved to what it is today.
In December 2019, the initial plan was to launch and build stores internally. We soon realized that each store should really have a CEO - and that a better direction would be to partner with e-commerce curious individuals, guiding them toward success.
See, despite e-commerce making business so much more accessible to everyone than ever before, there’s a misconception that it’s some sort of mystical thing that can only be understood and harnessed by young people.
This couldn’t be further from the truth. There are so many people of all ages and career levels who are curious about the possibilities within e-commerce but are held back by this misbelief. One of HIVE’s very first partners and now CEO, Chad, is the antithesis to this misconception.
In Late 2020, our team began seeking our first partners. We met Chad and together, built his very own Amazon store. The process went so well and Chad, who had no previous background in e-commerce, discovered the possibilities in the space. Fast forward 2 years later, and Chad’s Amazon business is now making $20K a month, while he serves as a key member of our leadership team.
100% of HIVE Partners launch their FBA business and begin seeing profits - the Incubation Period.
30% of HIVE Partners make at least 10K per month.
We are currently perfecting the Acceleration Period - systemizing how to get our sellers up from 10K-40K per month.
What’s next is the Growth Period - how to scale the business so much it is desirable to investors. To give you an idea of the investor market - in 2021, Empire Flippers facilitated the sale of an Amazon Business for a grand total of $12,000,000. Yes, 12 million. The business was only on the market for 11 days until it was picked up.
As of October 2022, HIVE has 15 launched and post revenue, 40 stores in incubation period - projecting to close the year at 50.
By 2026, we’re projected to 1000+ stores … and it’s only just the beginning.
